CHM High Precision High-Speed Paper Sheeter
Cutting Procedure and Operating Instructions
- Before starting production, inspect the entire cutting section to ensure that all mechanical components are in safe working condition and that no technical faults are present. Mount the parent paper roll onto the Hydraulic Shaft-Less Unwinder Stand, secure it properly, and operate the machine strictly according to the standard operating procedures.
- Feed the paper web through the Decurling System, Automatic Web Guide System, and the paper feeding section. Adjust the web tension, edge guiding, and pressure rollers to ensure smooth and stable paper transportation before the paper enters the cutting section.
- Once the paper passes through the rubber feeding rollers, the web will be firmly held and transported into the cutting unit. Enter all required production parameters on the Siemens PLC control panel, including sheet length, cutting quantity, ream quantity, and production speed.
- During startup, the machine should operate at a low speed. Produce several test sheets and adjust the receiving table, sheet stopper, and stacking position until the sheets are stacked neatly and accurately. After confirming cutting accuracy and stable sheet delivery, gradually increase the machine to normal production speed.
Standard Operating Procedure
Step 1
Inspect the entire machine and verify that all mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and safety systems are functioning properly.

Step 2
Switch on the main power supply and start the air compressor.
Step 3
Load the jumbo paper roll onto the Hydraulic Shaft-Less Unwinder Stand and clamp it securely using the hydraulic chuck system.

Step 4
Complete all preparation procedures according to the operating sequence.
Step 5
Thread the paper web into the unwind section and adjust the unwind brake pressure to achieve stable web tension.

Step 6
Guide the paper through the Decurling System and adjust the Automatic Web Guide System to maintain accurate web alignment
Step 7
Feed the paper into the infeed section and fine-tune the web tension to ensure smooth and stable transportation.

Step 8
Guide the paper into the pressure roller section. After the web enters the rubber feeding rollers, adjust the roller pressure to provide secure paper feeding without damaging the paper surface.
Step 9
Input all production parameters through the touch-screen control panel, including sheet length, quantity, cutting speed, and stacking

Step 10
Start the cutting process at a low speed. Produce several trial sheets to verify cutting quality and dimensional accuracy.
Step 11
Adjust the knife angle (if required), sheet receiving table, and sheet stopper until the finished sheets are stacked neatly and consistently.

Step 12
After confirming stable production and accurate sheet quality, gradually increase the machine to the required operating speed. The startup procedure is now complete, and normal production can begin.
